Frost the entire cake (sides and top) with the whipped cream frosting using a spatula. Utilize a piping bag and star tip to decorate the sides of the cake with whipped cream if ideal. Decorate with sprinkles as ideal. Return the cake into the freezer for 1-2 hrs, or longer if preferred.  Then, major the ice cream layer with your second cake.
